CNN reported that Donald Trump’s approval rating is the lowest of any President since Dwight Eisenhower.
The report included plenty of quotes from the ordinary workaday American.
And that got us thinking: why are these people being highlighted? After all, they aren’t the ones who know best. Like the old adage says, if it moves, they’ll vote for it.
Your average workaday person has no time or interest in what we call “objective thinking.”
Enraptured as they are by wild-eyed and biased opinions, culled mostly from unreliable sources such as talk radio or the illiteracy of local news outlets, these people are little more than shots fired in the dark—and in the wrong direction, no less. Hundreds of millions of them, all packed into one cesspool of ignorance….
We wanted to hear what those in the know think—those brave politicians of progress who make this country work, and who, despite their temporary expulsion from power, are going to build back even better than better, just as soon as they can get rid of Donald J. Trump.
Here’s what our friends had to say about Donald Trump’s approval rating after 100 days.
Senator Angela Alsobrooks:
“It’s like I’ve always said to all my colleagues at the day spa: this fool is gonna hang himself with the entrails of the common folks he’s gutting right and left, trying to build his own empire on their blood. The federal workers that have been laid off need to rise up and run another tea party train on Trump’s ass, dump him overboard. Can you swim? I hope. Maybe wash off some of that orange.”
Senator Bernie Sanders:
“I’ve always said that there are some things I agree with Trump about, but when I say some I mean—and don’t take me out of context here—I mean so few that I can’t even remember what they are. It’s basically like I agree with him on nothing, because the some I am talking about is just so small. And I’m not going to try to remember what I might have said. If you can’t remember, neither can I, and it’s not worth our time. I am still raising a fist for solidarity.”
Representative Shomari C. Figures:
“I don’t have to say that it figures Trump’s numbers are in the tank. That’s what I have predicted from day one. Even when I was growing up and I would see Trump on TV, I would say, ‘Man, now there’s a guy who couldn’t keep the polls up if his life depended on it.’ And you know, I was right, because, for one, I have spoken with Stormy Daniels who insists he can’t keep it up. I can’t think of a President who has been more of an abysmal failure in the history of this slave nation than Trump. Now I don’t have a choice but to take arms against a sea of troubles and fight for Alabama against the idiocy of Donald J. Trump to free the slaves and protect the equality he’s trying to destroy. I’m fighting for Alabama.”
Representative Lateefa Simon:
“Don’t let the glasses fool you. I will jump all over Trump’s ass when he’s down. Kick ‘em when they’re down, and keep kicking to keep ‘em there. I’m gonna kick his punk ass in the head, I’m gonna kick his ass in the nuts. Nobody liked Trump from the git go, now you lunatics who voted for this dictator are going to see that what he’s doing will make Gavin Newsom look like he’s a capitalist.”
Representative Ted Lieu:
“In lieu of speechifying against Donald J. Trump, I prefer to let him destroy himself. He will, you’ll see. Because if there’s one thing America hates it’s Americans with power who refuse to defer to a the reasonable party.”
Representative Maxine Waters:
“I been in the House for 600 years and in all that time I’ve never seen a thing so bad as Trump. These poll numbers are an indictment. I’m proposing legislation that says that any President with poll numbers as low as this after 100 days will be impeached immediately and sent to prison in Georgia. It’s a disgrace.”
Senator Chuck Schumer:
“As commander in chief of the senate, it has been my duty for the last 100 days to warn the American public and my fellow senators against Donald J. Trump. Did they listen? Until recently, no. That doesn’t surprise me. The tariffs are hammering the hell out of everybody. It’s gotten so bad that restaurant owners in Albany, New York, have had to take to the streets with bullhorns and in some cases double-barrelled shotguns and shout at pedestrians and threaten them to get in and eat their food, “we’re all in this together,” because the tariffs are draining them dry. A sad day. Donald Trump is destroying the restaurant industry, because he hates restaurants that aren’t luxury restaurants. Soon he is going to put tariffs on newborn children, saying they are immigrants who came from the uterus, which is its own country, and are now in America, a different country. How is the child going to pay? The child can’t, but Trump will force it to. Most parents will be forced to sell their newborn children to the Trump Organization. Trump deserves these awful polls. Impeach him, save the nation.”
